Dr. Alexander Pflaum, the Head of Department of Supply Chain Technologies at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits in Germany, presented the award to Xerafy on behalf of AIM and Euroforum and praised the company for its innovation in reducing the size and profile of metal RFID tags to that of a label.

Xerafy attended the EuroID exhibition and presented some of their innovative customer solutions. Xerafy displayed their XS tags attached to surgical instruments to revolutionize healthcare operating theaters. For financial and IT data centers, Xerafy demonstrated how the Metal Skin label can track blade servers, iPads, and laptops. For the manufacturing and aerospace market, Xerafy showed how tool tracking reduces risk of foreign object debris (FOD) in airplanes after maintenance operations. Stanley Black & Decker embedded Xerafy’s XS tags at the point of manufacture for their ProtoID™ tool sockets were also on display.
